To use our service, you need to register with WeWash once. There are two options to do so:

Via the WeWash App

Download the app in the applicable app store. As soon as the app has been successfully downloaded, please click on “Register” and then fill in all the necessary information. We will automatically send you an activation code to your registered e-mail address, which you then need to enter in the app. However, for security reasons, this code is only valid for 24 hours. Because the washing and drying cycles are billed on a cashless basis, you need to store and verify your preferred payment method. Alternatively, you can skip this step and pay every invoice manually. Here you can choose between various digital payment methods. Then, choose your laundry room. For this purpose, please ensure that your terminal device’s GPS is turned on so that correct locating can take place. If GPS is deactivated or the laundry room in your building has not yet been installed, you will automatically be assigned our “Virtual Laundry Room”. This virtual laundry room gives you the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the booking system free of charge. You can change the laundry room at any time by clicking on “Profile” and then selecting “Laundry Rooms”.

Via website/PC

Click on “Register now” on our website and then fill in all the information required. We will automatically send you an activation code to your registered e-mail address, which you then need to enter in the website. However, for security reasons, this code is only valid for 24 hours. Because the washing and drying cycles are billed on a cashless basis, you need to store and verify your preferred payment method.
Alternatively, you can skip this step and pay every invoice manually. Here you can choose between various digital payment methods.
Then, choose your laundry room. For this purpose, ensure that your PC/terminal device’s location detection is turned on (most browsers ask you if the site you’re on is allowed to use your current location – please click on “yes” here) so that a correct location can take place.
If location detection is deactivated or the laundry room in your building has not yet been installed, you will automatically be assigned our “Virtual Laundry Room”. This virtual laundry room gives you the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the booking system free of charge. You can change the laundry room at any time by clicking on “Profile” and then selecting “Laundry Rooms”.

Automatic
Credit card:
Log into the WeWash App. Click on “Profile” and choose “Payment Methods”. Make sure that you have selected “Automatic”. Then click on “+ Add Payment Method” and choose “Credit Card”. In order to verify your credit card, you will be charged a one-off payment of €1, which is then credited back to your card within no more than 24 hours. After accepting the terms and conditions of the credit card verification, you will automatically be forwarded to the website of your credit card provider. There you will be asked enter your 2-factor authentication. Please enter the requested data and confirm them by clicking the button. Your payment method is now stored. WeWash never saves your payment data. This is stored with our accredited payment service provider that is subject to the regulations of the European banking regulator for the security of internet payments, and monitored and inspected by the Central Bank of the Netherlands DNB.

SEPA:
Log into the WeWash App.Click on “Profile” and choose “Payment Methods”. Make sure that you have selected “Automatic”. Then click on “+ Add Payment Method” and choose “Direct Debit”. Enter the IBAN and the name of the account holder, confirm that you accept the SEPA terms and conditions of use and click on “Add Payment Method”.

After you have entered this and clicked on “Add Payment Method”, the verification phase begins. In this phase, you should wash or dry at least once with your new payment method, so that we can store a six-digit verification code in the intended use together with the associated booking in your account. Please note: The processing time for SEPA transactions can take up to 3 working days with banks. The code is an individual combination of figures and capital letters and is presented in the following form: WeWash code: WSSP8Y

In order to view the code in full, please go to the detailed view of your bank statement, so that the full purpose for use can be shown.

Example Verification Code Mollie

To enter the verification code, please go to “Profile”, “Payment Methods”, select your “Direct debit”-payment method where it says “UNVERIFIED” and then select “Verify”. Enter the code in the “Verification code”-field and click on “Verify”. Your payment method is then verified, and you can wash and dry without restrictions. As an alternative, you could click on the respective info-card, which you’ll find in the upper area of the app home screen. This info-card asks you to verify your payment method. Click on “Verify”, enter the code in the field “Verification Code” and click on “Verify”. Please note, that SEPA is only available for payments in the currency “Euro”.

Checkout:
With checkout you have various different payment methods available. If you choose this, you will have to pay your invoices manually. Once your washing or drying cycle is completed, an info card on the home screen will show your outstanding invoice amount. You can access the invoice summary by clicking on “Pay Now”. You will then see your outstanding invoice in detail. Click on “Pay Now” once more. You can now choose between various digital and cashless payment methods. You can only start a new washing or drying cycle once you have paid your invoice.

On 14 September 2019, the Payment Service Directive 2 entered into force. This specifies the mandatory introduction of the 2-factor authentication process for online payments. Therefore, you require an additional identification characteristic (e.g. pin) to use your credit card for online transactions. This applies to all online traders in the EU. If you have not yet activated your 2-factor authentication, please contact the bank that issued your card. They will help you with the set-up process.

The second identification characteristic for the 2-factor authentication is dependent on your bank/your credit institution. Please contact the institution that issued your card. They will help you with the set-up process and have information on the relevant characteristic.

If you don’t receive a code via e-mail in the next few minutes, please check your spam folder. If you don’t find the e-mail there either, please check that you have entered your e-mail address correctly. Click on “Get a new one”. If you still don’t receive an activation code, please contact support team at support@we-wash.com.

Please check first of all that your GPS is switched on. You can check this in the settings of your smartphone and/or your browser settings. Moreover, make sure that the laundry room that you want to access is already installed and accessible. In the case of new installations, the transition period can take between 1–2 days. Your property management will let you know when your laundry room is available again.

Please make sure that you haven’t entered any spaces in the IBAN. In the case of 34-digit number sequences, it is also possible that you might have mistyped the number. Please check your entry once again.

Please note, that SEPA is only available for payments in the currency “Euro”.
