STAYERY blends the comfort of a private apartment with the convenience of hotel services. With eight locations in the major German cities – Berlin, Bielefeld, Bremen, Gütersloh, Cologne Ehrenfeld and Sülz, Frankfurt, and Wolfsburg – STAYERY is growing, with more sites already in the pipeline. It provides ideal accommodation for both short city breaks and productive business trips. Whether it’s a stay of just a few days or several months, the apartments come equipped with full kitchens, co-working spaces, and thoughtful extras like weekly cleaning and an on-site washing salon.
Since 2019, STAYERY has partnered with WeWash for their laundry facilities. All eight locations are outfitted with the WeWash Care solution, featuring Bosch appliances designed specifically for WeWash. Guests can easily reserve and book washing machines and dryers using the WeWash App. Payment is cashless via the app using various digital options such as credit cards, PayPal, and Apple Pay. On-site amenities such as ironing boards, irons, laundry baskets, and drying racks are provided, and detergent can be conveniently purchased cashless at the STAYERY Späti – a small convenience store typically open late.
In some locations, buying detergent even has become a thing of the past — STAYERY has introduced the WeWash Care i-DOS option in Gütersloh, Wolfsburg, and Berlin. i-DOS washing machines feature an integrated detergent tank, allowing for fully automatic dosing. Users load and start the machine as usual, and the system automatically detects the load size, adjusting the detergent amount based on the program and settings. This technology saves up to 38% of detergent and up to 10 litres of water per wash cycle. The fragrance-free, sensitive detergent provided by WeWash is also 100% biodegradable. More locations are expected to adopt the i-DOS system soon, with an additional site already in the planning stage.

How is the service being received by your guests?
“The WeWash solution is a hit with our guests. The app is easy to use and automatically notifies them when their laundry is ready, making the process incredibly convenient. If any questions arise, our STAYERY hosts – whether on-site or remote – are quick to assist. The new i-DOS option has been particularly well received as the detergent is already included so there’s no need to purchase it separately.”

While we faced some initial challenges during the installation phase, we successfully overcame them through close cooperation with WeWash. However, if you have existing machines that are in a good working condition, we can easily retrofit them to modern, cashless operation – regardless of brand or type.
